Porto and the holydays.

August morning in the city.

The cries of seagulls echo off the granite of backyards and empty streets.

The sun’s heat mixes with the coolness of the north wind, which doesn’t go on vacation and creates a cloud of sharp, fine dust close to the sand on the city’s beaches.

Silence.

Fragments of white clouds with a blue sky behind them and a silent cat on the roof. Shadows come and go with the clouds, pushed by the north wind.

The city of work rests.
